Maritime Heritage Event 16th/17th June 2007

1957 AEC Regent A267 and 1962 Met Cam Atlantean L501 were used to provide a shuttle service between Paradise Street Interchange (the modern CBS!) and Wellingont Dock, Bootle. Only A267 was used on Saturday initially alongisde two Arriva single decks, though due to the massive demand of the service Arriva later had an extra four deckers out! The use of L501 was requested for use on Sunday and both it and A267 carried full loads all day alongside the five Arriva deckers and a low floor Dart.

An impressive total of £501 was taken during the weekend.Thanks to all those who helped out driving and crewing during the weekend.
