UPDATE: 25/04/2008 - A267 used for Arriva North West's Safety Week
In March 2008, A267 visited Arriva North West's Runcorn and Speke garages to promote Arriva's safety week. A267 was very kindly steam cleaned during her stay in Speke depot and now looks resplendant underneath. Karl Wilton provides the pictures:

11/02/2008 - Panther 1076 recovered
Liverpool Panther 1076, probably better known these days as the Green Bus Cafe from Ambergate was recoved by the MTT after her owners decided to sell the business. 1076 was used by Hulleys of Baslow after leaving Merseyside before retiring to her layby where the bus has stood for nearly 25 years! Trust members visited the bus to change her tyres and make sure that the brakes were free before towing, which was carried out by Johnsons of Banks. 1076 will provide much needed body and mechanical spares for the Trust's Panther 1054, which is part way through being restored.

10/09/2007 - L255 makes her debut
L255 hit the road again for her first public appearence in 17 years. It has undergone a thorough restoration to a high standard by its owner. It was finished shortly before the 2007 Running Day where it was used on routes 4 and 5 carrying enthusiasts and members of the public alike.
07/08/2007 - L835 makes her debut
L835 made her debut appearence at Woodvale this year where her high capacity and double doors were put to good use. The story of L835's restoration can be seen here.
The next events are over the weekend of 8th/9th September. On the Saturday (8th), the MTT will be providing a service linking the historic buildings open during the Heritage Weekend, more details to follow. And the Sunday (9th), of course, is our Running Day, of which more details are available on the Running Day page.
22/06/1007 - Maritime Heritage Festival Update
A highly succesful weekend was had during which the Trust provided a shuttle service alongside Arriva. For pictures and details of the weekend, see the Photos section. Photots are also online from when A267 visited ST Georges Hall during the Lord Mayors Parade.
10/06/1007 - Maritime Heritage Festival
The MTT will be providing a free vintage bus on a service between Paradise Street Bus Interchange (off Strand, Liverpool) Stand 4 and the Festival Site at Wellington Dock leaving every hour on the hour from Wellington Dock. There will also be one of our buses on display at the festival site.
10/04/2007 - L501 Livepool Route Tour
A most enjoyable day was had by all last Sunday (8th April 2007) when Met Cam Atlantean L501 was taken out round Liverpool for a route and photo tour. Pictures can now be found in the Photos section under L501 Route Tour.
18/03/2007 - LIVERPOOL 07/08 EVENTS
The Trust will be providing vehicles for a number of events during 2007 to help celebrate 800 years of Liverpool.
Saturday/Sunday 16/17th June: Maritime Heritage Event (Canada Dock) - A shuttle will be run from Mann Island and the Albert Dock to Canada Dock for the tall ships.
Friday - Sunday 14-16th September: The Big History Show - 800 Years of Liverpool - Buses will be on display outside St Georges Hall for this 3-day celebration.
